Exploring the Amalfi Coast on a superyacht charter with her family, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley enjoyed the Mediterranean getaway of a lifetime on board the 42m/137ft luxury yacht ‘Grand Illusion’, and she was keen to share the experience on social media.
Alongside her husband Jason Statham and their two-year-old son Jack, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley spent a blissful week soaking up the beauty of the Amalfi Coast on a private yacht charter.
The supermodel shared the experience with her millions of followers on Instagram, as she and her family cruised around this idyllic Italian region.

Set adrift from the mainland, Ischia is a pint-sized rocky outcrop that is popular among the SuperyachtSet, but has clung on to much of its rustic Italian elegance. The spa island marked the starting point of Rosie’s crewed yacht charter, where she snapped a picture of sun-bleached houses hugging the shoreline in the commune of Lacco Ameno.
The model stepped into the sea for a swim at dusk, leaving her Saint Laurent mules and matching bag on the grainy sand while she took a ‘magic hour’ dip.
The island is known for its mineral-rich waters, which supposedly have healing properties. Around Lacco Ameno, a luxury thermal park promises the ultimate spot to unwind. Twelve different pools can be found here, including natural pools which have been carved out of the rocks overlooking the bay to create a truly one-of-a-kind setting.
On the tip of the Amalfi Coast, Nerano is a charming little town overlooking a slice of pellucid sapphire sea. Its pristine, pebbly beaches are invariably popular with those enjoying a private yacht charter, as are the hiking trails which snake along Nerano’s craggy cliffs and dense Mediterranean forests.
Just outside the town lies Recommone Bay, a sheltered cove home to the exclusive beach club and restaurant of Conca del Sogno. Here, Rosie enjoyed a terrace meal and a flute of freshly-prepared Sgroppino al Limon, a popular cocktail and palate cleanser made from vodka, lemon sorbet and ice-cold prosecco.

Taking full advantage of the region’s rich and juicy Amalfi lemons, the family stayed at Conca del Sogno to sample Delizia al Limone, a tart and sweet citrus dessert made with delicate meringue and soft custard. The model snapped a shot of iced cherries, peaches and white wine at the venue with the caption ‘the best lunch’.
Nerano may be small, but it doesn’t lack a vibrant dining scene. The award-winning Lo Scoglio was another stop-off for Rosie, Jason and Jack, where they dined on homemade pasta and seafood while admiring the panoramic sea views and enjoying the laid-back ambience of this family-run restaurant.

Sitting just a few kilometres from the Amalfi Coast, Capri is awash with beauty and buzz. Divided between the main town of Capri and the more rural Anacapri, the island boasts plenty to see and do for discerning travellers; particularly those with a love of culture.
The Villa San Michele is a popular stop-off, offering acres of flower-filled gardens, ancient statues and a museum that's rich in history and art. Afterwards, visitors would be remiss not to check out Capri's famous Blue Grotto, which is only accessible by boat and promises a mesmerising look at the electric-blue waters of a semi-submerged cave.

Rosie and her family enjoyed cruising around the waters of Capri, with the former Victoria's Secret model showing off her Jacquemus shirt dress and ditsy-printed bikini from Fella Swim. Rosie snapped a picture of the iconic arches of Il Faraglioni, the rock formation which towers out of the water off the coast of Anacapri. Legend has it that if you sail below the rocks and kiss your loved one, your love will be true forever.
After soaking up some sun and some sights, the family headed to Fontelina. The blue and white stripes of the beach club's umbrellas were clearly visible in an Instagram post captioned 'Lunch with a view'. Fontelina is no stranger to famous faces, with Bridget Bardot and Sophia Loren putting this beachfront hideaway on the map back in the sixties. The exclusive venue boasts an enviable waterfront location with views over Il Faraglioni, and prides itself on delicious sangria laced with fresh Caprese peaches.

One of the Amalfi Coast's most treasured hotspots is Positano, with its steep cliffs framing the main town and buildings haphazardly piled on top of each other. Positano's winding streets are home to plenty of gelateries, family-run ristorantes and unassuming antique shops that make for a perfect day of shopping and exploring.
Just outside the main town lies the iconic venue of Il San Pietro di Positano. The five-star hotel plays host to several dining options including the critically-acclaimed Zass, a laid-back beach club and fabulous facilities including a spa, swimming pool and tennis court. Rosie and her family spent a night at the hotel, where they were able to soak up the romantic grandeur and 'Italian decadence' of their suite.
The famous family also took advantage of the beach club, which is carved onto a plateau of rock at the foot of the cliff. Tangerine sunloungers are lined up overlooking the Tyrrhenian sea and craggy cliffs, with steps leading into the water so visitors can enjoy a crisp dip. The venue wouldn't be complete without a strip of sandy beach, a beach bar, and a selection of luxury yachts out at anchor hugging the bay.
