Designed by renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, famous for Paris’s iconic Pompidou Centre, this man-made beach comprises both private and public areas of the beach.
The private beaches (La Rose des Vents, Le Neptune, La Note Bleue and Le Miami) offer loungers and parasols from the beach club, plus table service for drinks and food while you top up your tan. For the public stretches of the beach, you will need to bring your own towels and whatever else you might need for your excursion to the beach.
400+ meter wide jellyfish protective nets encircle the perimeter of the beach area, ensuring a comfortable swim in exquisite clear shallow waters, perfect for families, locals and tourists alike. Both private and public beaches offer fantastic amenities, including freshwater showers, changing cabins, toilets and lockers.
Larvotto beach also offers reduced mobility and disabled access (known in France as a Handiplage), including young attendants known as Handiplagistes who are on hand to assist those in need.
The Larvotto Beach complex, covering an area of over 14,000m2 encompassing both the beach and pine-shaded promenade, also plays host to a range of 24-hour cafes, bars and restaurants, including the long-standing ice cream parlor Mullot, as well as a crèche, le Larvotto Gym Centre and L'Académie Monégasque de la Mer diving school.
