The island’s beaches include Loh Paret and Loh Jark, which offers a pontoon for ferries and Thailand’s ubiquitous long-tail boats.
The surrounding waters are rich in coral and boast an array of notable dive sites, including King Cruiser Wreck – a passenger ferry that sank, casualty-free, in 1997 and is now home to a variety of unique marine life, plus Anemone Reef – well-known for spotting Lionfish, and Shark Point – part of a marine sanctuary that consist of a array of astonishing underwater pinnacles.
