Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
30 Oct - 3 Nov 2024
The 'Yachting Capital of the World', Fort Lauderdale plays host to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) every year in October/November.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show presents thousands of industry exhibits alongside more than 1,300 boats, including sport-fishers, centre consoles, cabin cruisers, tenders, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, extraordinary superyachts for sale and of course luxury yacht charters.
Hugely popular amongst the Captains of the industry as well as yacht buyers and prospective charter guests, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show frequently attracts over 100,000 visitors to Florida every year.
Extending over three million square feet, the five-day exhibit is the largest in-water boat show in the world and has a fantastic transportation system of water taxis, bus shuttles, and riverboats to give guests easy access to the seven-show locations.
Show locations include;
- Bahia Mar Yachting Center
- Hall of Fame Marina
- 17th Street Yacht Basin
- Las Olas Marina
- Pier 66 Marina
- Superyacht Village at Pier 66 South
- Broward County Convention Center.
A large variety of charter yachts are also displayed, ranging from compact sportfishers to spectacular superyachts
In 2017, show organizers extended their contract with the exhibit's host - the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Yachting Center - for another 50 years, guaranteeing the longevity of this top industry event.
Further cementing the long-standing success of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the diamond anniversary edition in 2019 saw the inaugural appearance of the now-iconic Superyacht Village.
Featuring nothing but the biggest and most impressive motor yachts on the market, the Superyacht Village near Pier 66 is an attraction in its own right and continually draws VIP crowds every year.
